(SOLD) Veta Grande (Zacatecas) Silver Project, Mexico
The Veta Grande Silver Project consists of the 200-tpd Santa Gabriela processing plant and 13 mineral concessions in the Zacatecas Silver District, located 500 kilometers northwest of Mexico City. Access is by paved highways which run through the district. Infrastructure is good throughout the district with road networks, electric power and a trained work force. Over the past six years, intermittent exploration has focused on several of the 13 mineral concessions located within the district.
In 2011, the Company optioned most of its Zacatecas assets to Defiance Silver Corp. ("Defiance", TSX-V: DEF) in return for a major share position (paid) and a final cash payment (not paid). Under difficult market conditions, Defiance returned the Santa Gabriela Mill and mineral concessions to IMPACT in December of 2013. The Zacatecas project is currently on care and maintenance.
In 2017, this project was sold to Endeavour Silver for a deemed value of US $500,000.
